{"id":471,"date":"2023-02-28T17:21:19","date_gmt":"2023-02-28T17:21:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kidsartsfestivalschenectady.com\/?page_id=471"},"modified":"2023-02-28T17:21:19","modified_gmt":"2023-02-28T17:21:19","slug":"2022-contest-winners","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kidsartsfestivalschenectady.com\/index.php\/2022-contest-winners\/","title":{"rendered":"2022 Contest Winners"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Nearly 200 kids drew how they \u201cCelebrate Summer\u201d for the 28<sup class=\"\">th<\/sup>&nbsp;annual Kids Arts Festival Poster Contest.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each of the winners reminds us all what it\u2019s like to be young and full of brilliant, uninhibited ideas that get to flower unbridled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And flowers, indeed, were the primary topic of two of the three winning posters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nine-year-old Isabella Cook, a recent Georgia transplant and a third grader at Zoller Elementary school while attending her first Kids Arts Festival, loves to \u201cgo for walks\u201d and enjoys looking at gardens and flowers. She says she wanted to \u201cdo more\u201d with her poster and her bright image with smiling, personified clouds looking down on similarly smiling flowers accomplished just that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kidsartsfestivalschenectady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/download.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-430\" width=\"788\" height=\"611\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kidsartsfestivalschenectady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/download.png 788w, https:\/\/kidsartsfestivalschenectady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/download-300x233.png 300w, https:\/\/kidsartsfestivalschenectady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/download-768x595.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 788px) 100vw, 788px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>In the teen group, 14-year-old Alina Gasanova, a recent graduate of Albany\u2019s Hackett Middle School, dazzled judges with an M.C.
