She attends TOAST (short for the Thomas O&#8217;Brien Academy of Science and Technology) in Albany. Amarah said she was so happy to be at Kids Arts Festival and she just drew how she felt. Connor won his age division in the poster contest for our 27th annual festival. The artwork was judged on how well &#8220;happiness&#8221; was portrayed. Upon hearing he won Connor told us &#8220;Baseball makes me happy because it\u2019s fun to play games and hit the ball and I was thinking about hitting a home run when I drew it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:32% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"358\" height=\"451\" src=\"https:\/\/kidsartsfestivalschenectady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IMG_9028-e1646681678273.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-374 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kidsartsfestivalschenectady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IMG_9028-e1646681678273.jpeg 358w, https:\/\/kidsartsfestivalschenectady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IMG_9028-e1646681678273-238x300.jpeg 238w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 358px) 100vw, 358px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">The winning poster contest entry in the middle school division is from Rosemary Ottati, 11, who attends Iroquois Middle School in Niskayuna. She told us: &#8220;When I was drawing this poster I was thinking about all of the friends that I have now and all the friends I will have in the future.
